Spear Natural Bridge

Even though this natural bridge is in Capitol Reef National Park it was virtually unknown to the park rangers. Although originally discovered in 1970 by a Mr & Mrs Spear and named for them the bridge has remained extremely difficult to find. It is very easy to overlook it even when in the immediate vicinity.

The bridge has a span of 53 ft and a height of 33 ft.
