Spert Island is a volcanic island that lies at 62° 58'S, 60° 57'W off the western extremity of Trinity Island in the Palmer Archipelago close to the Antarctic Peninsular. This large double arch is located at the southern part of the island as is about 50/60 ft high with a span of about 60/65 ft. The arch is eroded from volcanic basalt. There is a smaller narrower open at the rear of the arch.
