Royal Arch Cave Arch
NABSQNO 55K 233815 - 8098392
Chillagoe Mungana Caves National Park is some 150 miles west of Cairns. The park contains a number of caves many of which also have natural arches. Royal Arch Cave is one of the highlights of the national park. Royal Arch is not the actual name of this arch, the royal part of the name comes from a rock formation near to the cave's entrance that looks very like the profile of Queen Victoria. Commercial tours of the cave are available locally and the arch is situated at the end of the tour.
The GPS location is of the cave entrance and not the actual arch.
The arch is likely to have a span of about 60/80 ft.
