Wolfe County. The Red River Gorge, an intricate canyon system of the Red River in east central Kentucky, has been designated a National Natural Landmark. Most of the George is located inside the Daniel Boone National Forest. There are more than 100 natural arches and bridges in the area.

Like Natural Bridge of Kentucky, which is not too far away, Sky Bridge is not a true natural bridge but a natural arch. It is, however, arguably the most impressive of all Kentucky arches situated on a ridge top on the southern side of the Red River. It is a double arch and can be easily reached by marked trails.

The main arch has a span of 76 ft and height of 22 ft whilst the much smaller arch has a span of 19 ft and a height of 6 ft.
