Sand Gap Arch

Powell County.  The Red River Gorge, an intricate canyon system of the Red River in east central Kentucky, has been designated a National Natural Landmark. Most of the George is located inside the Daniel Boone National Forest. There are more than 100 natural arches and bridges in the area.

The arch is on private land so permission of the owner must be obtained.

It has a span of 68 ft and a height of 25 ft.
