McCreary County. The whole of the county lies completely within the Daniel Boone National Forest which is managed by the US Forest Service.

This very impressive arch is located a short distance from the Tennessee state line.  There is a marked trail which leads to the arch in about ¼ mile. The name comes from the fact that native Americans used to watch for buffalo from the top of the arch.

It has a span of 75 ft and a height of 35 ft.
