McCreary County. The whole of the county lies completely within the Daniel Boone National Forest which is managed by the US Forest Service.

This very impressive arch is located a short distance from the Tennessee state line.  There is a marked trail which leads to the arch in about mile. The name comes from the fact that native Americans used to watch for buffalo from the top of the arch.

It has a span of 75 ft and a height of 35 ft.
