Livingston County. This is the largest natural arch east of the Rocky Mountains. It is about 2 miles west of the small town of Joy and is in a nature reserve.

The arch was used as a shelter by the Cherokee during the winter of 1838/39 on the Trail of Tears; a forced relocation of five of the American Indian tribes in the south eastern United States to what was then called Indian Territory now present day Oklahoma. 

The arch has a span of 167 ft and a height of 21 ft.
