Nabataneans' Steps Arch

Nabataneans' Steps Arch

The most popular tourist destination in Jordan is Petra. This arch is only a few miles from the world famous site on the road to Little Petra. It is located close to the small village of Bodol-Hausing. The arch is visible from the access road but is not easy to find once you have climbed on to the top of the cliff. The top of the cliff is accessed by an exciting climb up a purple fin by way of steps cut into the rock. From the arch, which has a span of about 33 feet and a height of about 20 feet, are spectacular view of the surrounding area.
