NABSQNO 16S 524149 - 4350720

Owen County. Located in McCormick's Creek State Park, about 2 miles east of the town of Spencer, this is one of two natural bridges that are at right angles to each other. They are just past Wolf Cave and are shown on the park's guide map on a well marked hiking trail.

According to legend an early settler was returning home and as she passed the cave was pursued by several wolves emerging from the cave. She threw down her bonnet and basket to distract the wolves which allowed her to escape.

The arch can be viewed from a wooden platform alongside the trail but can also be easily accessed. It has a span of 21 ft and a height of 10 ft.
