Kalfastrond Arch

Lake Myvatn lies in north central Iceland and is the fourth largest lake in the country. On the east shore of the lake is the small settlement of Kalfastrond. On the road to it there is a short trail to Klasar and about ½ mile along this trail is this small arch. The trail runs alongside a small arm of the lake and passes some interesting rock formations.

The arch has a span of 4 ft and a height of 6 ft.
