Arch Creek Natural Bridge

There are very few natural openings in Florida none of which are significant. Arch Creek Natural Bridge is unusual in that it is situated within the Miami metropolitan area. Unfortunately the bridge mysteriously collapsed in 1973, just one day before the property was purchased to become a park. In 1988 the bridge was reconstructed. The photograph shown is of the reconstructed arch.
