San Cristobal Island, Galapagos. Off the coast of San Cristobal Island is a large rock known in English as Kicker Rock. It is so called as from certain angles it resembles the shape of a large boot. It is also known in Spanish as Leon Dormido - sleeping lion - as when viewed from the south it has the appearance of a resting feline. Through the island is a narrow opening. Blue footed boobies can be found nesting on the rock.

The height of the rock is said to be about 460 ft so the arch's height might be about 40 ft.
