Pinar del Rio Province. In the Parque la Guira, in Cuba's westernmost province, the Rio Caiguanabo river has cut through a mountain forming three joined caves. This natural bridge is at the entrance to the caves. It is historically important as it was the site where Ernesto Che Guevara had his headquarters during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. He thought that if Cuba was to be invaded he would be ready to fight the invaders. His original table, chairs and bed are still in the cave. Although there is a small camp site with 12 cabins the area doesn't get very many visitors.

The bridge has a span of 42 ft and a height of about 26 ft.
