Tianhetan Natural Bridge

Guizhou Province. The bridge is in Shiban Town of Huaxi a small park about 15 miles south of the city of Guiyang. Kongling, an underground river, flows through a cave delightfully named Milky Way Palace before cascading through the bridge. The flow is strictly controlled by sluice gates which has created a lake to allow tourists boat trips into the cave. The bridge has a span of 39 ft and a height of 55 ft. A concrete platform has been built by the sluice gates which act as a wharf for the boats.
