Tian Long South

Sichuan Province. This is the largest of three very large waterfall natural bridges that spans the Yangshui He Gorge, a tributary of the Wujiang River. The area, which has been designated as a geopark and also a world heritage site, is about 8 miles north of the city of Wulong in Chongqing Municipality and is a popular local tourist site. Tian Long, which translates as Sky Dragon, is a double bridge. The south opening is the larger with a span of about 165 ft and a height of about 317 ft. The buildings at the base of the opening were constructed for the 2006 film “The Curse of the Golden Flower”.
