Ennedi Region. The Ennedi is a large remote area in the north east of the country and is part of the Sahara desert. Here there are many spectacular rock formations as well as a great many natural arches. Located in the Dartekele area this pair of arches are very close to arch number 36. 

The larger opening has a span of 33 ft and a height of 28 ft while the smaller opening has a span of 21 ft and a height of 18 ft.
