Ennedi Region. The Ennedi is a large remote area in the north east of the country and is part of the Sahara desert. Here there are many spectacular rock formations as well as a great many natural arches. The arch is about 29 miles south southeast of Fada. However, there is some speculation that this may not be a true natural arch.

It has a span of about 37 ft and a height of about 50 ft.
