Ennedi Region. The Ennedi is a large remote area in the north east of the country and is part of the Sahara desert. Here there are many spectacular rock formations as well as a great many natural arches. The arch is about 23 miles south of Fada. The is another smaller arch in front and to the right of the arch.

The arch has a span of 35 ft and a height of 19 ft.
