Ennedi Region. The Ennedi is a large remote area in the north east of the country and is part of the Sahara desert. Here there are many spectacular rock formations as well as a great many natural arches. Anoa Arch is named after the area in which the arch is located and is about 57 miles north west of Fada.

The main opening has a span of 43 ft and a height of 53 ft.
