Ennedi Region. The Ennedi is a large remote area in the north east of the country and is part of the Sahara desert. Here there are many spectacular rock formations as well as a great many natural arches. The arch is in the Tokou massif about a half a mile west and south of The Eye of Tokou and a similar distance north of The Elephant. As the name suggests there are three opening in the rock.
The largest opening has a span of 33 ft and a height of 23 ft.
