The Alabama Hills in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains have played host to numerous movies and television series. There are many arches here, but whilst they are relatively small they are very photogenic with the mountains in the background. The hills are located up Whitney Portal Road near the town of Lee Vining. Hitching Post has a span of 17 feet and height of 3 feet. |
