Belmont Arch

NABSQNO 12S 321033 - 3721361

Maricopa County. The Belmont Mountains is a mountain range in the northern Sonoran Desert about 50 miles west of Phoenix and to the north of Interstate 10. There are a number of confusing dirt roads in the area but you can drive a high clearance vehicle to within about a third of a mile of the arch. Although the arch is not visible from the parking spot it is in the lower part of the ridge. The arch is high up on the ridge just by a tight grove of five Saguaros. It is a moderately strenuous hike with loose rock but it is possible to access the arch.

It has a span of 23 ft and height of 20 ft.
