The Window is located in Parque Provincial Ischigualasto – also known as Valley of the Moon – at stop 4 (The Submarine) on the park tour. Access to the arch is no longer permitted due to a fatal accident when a woman fell to her death through the opening of a smaller arch alongside. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There many photographs of the arch on tourist posters and in guide books. |
