Tower Arch

NABSQNO 12S 614031 – 4294345

Ranks 6. Klondike Bluffs Area. Fortunately there is a 4WD road and a trail to this remote arch so it gets quite a few visitors. The name Tower Arch was given by Frank Beckwith due to its likeness to the Tower of London, but it had previously been called Minaret Bridge. There is some doubt as to who discovered the arch either Mr & Mrs Alex Ringhoefer in 1922 or H S Bell in1927. Both left inscriptions on the arch but there is some doubt as to which was made first.

It has a span of 101 ft and a height of 45 ft.
