Ranks 94. Great Wall Area. Also known as Schmidt Arch, named after Henry G Schmidt who discovered the arch in 1940, Bean Pot Arch can be seen from the park road. As it is high in the cliff and there is no sign to indicate it most visitors don’t know the arch is there. It is best seen in the early morning when the sun cast a shadow of the opening.

It has a span of 20 ft and a height of 29 ft.
